Meet Dr. Sam Wertheimer, a dedicated, compassionate clinical psychologist in Philadelphia. In between sessions with children and families, Sam found herself navigating the digital side of business with a sigh. Her website just wasn’t the cozy corner of the internet that she envisioned. It lacked the warmth and personality she poured into her sessions. She knew she was stuck in a place where her online presence didn't echo the heart and soul of her therapeutic practice.
"My website felt like a PowerPoint presentation. It felt sort of boring and corporate and was not reflective of my services or myself," she explained.
After running her business for a few years, Sam felt more secure in herself and her practice. She craved a new website with a cleaner, simpler design and a tighter visual brand that matched her personal style, resonated with her target audience, and illuminated her clinical background. She was ready to ditch the corporate vibe and dive into a world of captivating, fun design.

We walked away from our initial meeting with a goal of creating a professional and mature look for her growing practice. With a focus on holistic treatment and a unique approach that incorporates family dynamics, Dr. Sam stands out in her field. So, obviously, her website had to reflect that style as well.

After our Preliminary Working Session and as we moved through my 6-week web design process, we honed in on what content Sam needed for her site and how to edit her copy for a web-based audience. Next, we went through mood board options to figure out exactly how “warmth” and" “professionalism” looked for her logo, fonts, and color scheme. Once we’d nailed down the content and the visuals, we began building the site. Toward the end of our design dates, we polished the site, checked all the boxes on my pre-launch checklist, then published the site together!
Now, Dr. Sam’s online space now only reflects her warmth and professionalism, but also attracts her ideal clients by showing and telling them what they’re looking for when they land on her page.
